そして今回も最高なバンドをご紹介します。第二回のバンドはSpici Waterです！
時を遡ること、私がパースに来てすぐの頃はライヴの情報を入手する方法がひとつしかありませんでした。
それは街中にたくさん貼られているライヴやイベントのポスターを片っ端からチェックするという方法です。
小さいイベントから大きなイベントまでいろんなジャンルのポスター。時にはコメディアンショーだったり、バンドのライヴだったり、DJイベントだったり、演劇だったり。手作り感のものから本格的なものまでいろいろ。
当時ここに来たばかりの私は地理感が皆無だったので、どこでお酒を飲めるのか、どこでライヴを観れるのかも分からない状態でした。バーだと思ったらお花屋さんだったり、レコードショップだと思ったらヘッドショップだったり。笑

💟Let’s meet this edition’s band: Spici Water!
when I had just arrived in Perth, I only had one way to find out about gigs—checking out every single posters about gigs and events around the city.There are posters for all kinds of things from tiny shows to big festivals.
But honestly, I had no idea where I could go for drinks or gig.I’d walk into what I thought was a bar, and it’d be a flower shop.Or I’d spot what looked like a record store… nope, it was a head shop haha
And then one day, I randomly saw a poster of Spici Water.The photo they used was super cute and poppy, with this warm energy.Right away, I decided to go to see them!
They played at venue called four5Nine, this narrow little venue.four5nine is connected to another venue called Rosemount Hotel, which is a bit bigger in size.
Back then, I used to get crazy nervous just stepping into either of them.But now they feel like familiar old spots.I’ve seen The Beths, Los Bitchos, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets there!
